How we do it

At Anderson Acoustics, we help our clients achieve their vision when it comes to office acoustics. We work collaboratively with architects, planners, designers and business owners to create great sounding workspaces.

1. Consultation

We work with you to gain a full understanding of the desired outcome of your workspace and explore any acoustic concerns using our client wellbeing survey.

2. Situational assessment

We conduct an off-site review of the workspace design and layout to identify any obvious sources of acoustic discomfort. Next, we will provide an on-site inspection considering dimensions, finishes, quality of materials and capturing sound level data.

3. Initial report & recommendation

We provide you with a summary report detailing:
• Areas of potential noise disturbance
• Identification of any acoustic weaknesses caused by room finishes, partitions, doors, facade or M&E equipment.
• Areas of high-level background noise

Recommendations for further study and improvement works which may include:

• Noise mitigation strategies for office layout
• Enhancement of internal and external sound insulation
• Surface treatments to achieve appropriate acoustic performance for the space
• Attenuation of mechanical services and upgrading of ceiling materials
• Assessment and design to industry standards such as BREEAM, Well Building Standard and Fitwel.

4. Ongoing support

Once acoustic solutions have been implemented, we are available to collect and analyse data to ensure you achieve the best possible working environment.
