Vitality Office Fit-Out, Bournemouth

Background

Anderson Acoustics was brought on board by Peldon Rose to provide expert advice on the fit-out of an existing four-storey building to provide new office space for Vitality.

Our role was to guide the project on all acoustic matters, to achieve a great sounding office space for the end user.

What we did

Having worked with Vitality on their London office we established acoustic design targets that would provide a level of continuity in acoustic performance between offices.

At the design stage, we worked closely with Peldon Rose to specify suitable partition constructions and effective junction details to achieve suitable privacy between rooms and established specifications and locations for acoustic finishes to achieve optimal acoustic comfort accross the workspaces.

Critical to this project was the the support provided through the construction phases where base-build constraints uncovered during construction meant the design of critical partition junctions could not be realised on site. Working closely with the site team, we carried out several inspections and provided informed solutions to address the constraints to achieve optimal acoustic performance.

Result

The fit-out is now complete and commissioned. The acoustic targets established and agreed at the design stage were carried through to completion.
