Last month Callum Brewer, Principal Consultant leading our Environmental Sector work, attended this Alliance of Construction Networks event with industry peers discussing the Building Safety Act.
As a designer, we understand our role in ensuring competence and compliance throughout a project’s lifecycle and the need to work closely with other duty holders for managing safety risks. The company takes a robust approach to health and safety across all sectors and projects and the team in turn effectively demonstrates the required behaviours.
We are working with the Institute of Acoustics to put together a suitable guidance note for IoA members to assist with BSA Regs compliance to demonstrate competency and define the acoustic consultant’s role as designer. Watch this space!
