Earlier this year, Durata Developments Limited (part of Aspire Housing) launched a procurement exercise to put in place a panel of Development Consultants to support them in delivering their development programme – The Dynamic Purchasing System (DPS) for Development Consultants and Services.
Aspire Housing are a leading housing provider, property developer and place shaper based in Newcastle under Lyme. They own and manage over 9,000 properties and support over 20,000 customers across Staffordshire and Cheshire.
Keen to attract locally based consultants to its areas of operation, our office and the team in Manchester put in a bid to the DPS and this week we are pleased to announce we have been successful. We have won places on two Lots including Lot 18 Air Quality Assessors and Lot 19 Acoustic Engineers.
As Air Quality Assessors our role will be to assess and manage the potential impact of construction activities on air quality through providing air quality monitoring, mitigation strategies, regulatory compliance, indoor air quality assessment, and environmental monitoring plans.
As Acoustic Engineers our role will be to help design, assess, manage and control sound and vibrations in the built environment, providing consultancy for the design or assessment of acoustics in homes, workplaces, leisure facilities, the outdoor environment and so on.
The Dynamic Purchasing System (DPS) for Development Consultants and Services will run for an initial period of 5 years.
