Profits from our recent quarterly performance have allowed us to once again support the work of some great charities in London and Sussex, including these charities that were nominated by our Employee Owners:-
Pelican Parcels is a charity supporting families/carers who are experiencing financial hardship by giving them donated used and new baby/children’s items.
“We are incredibly grateful for such a generous donation, this gift will directly support the vital work we do providing essential items to families in need. Your gift will help to deliver over 6,000 parcels over the next year to families who need it most, parcels including items such as clothing, shoes, nappies, toiletires, books, buggies and beds. We couldn’t do our work without generous supporters such as you so thank you” Evie Oglethorpe, Fundraising Manager.
Forward Facing is a Sussex-based charity that supports families whose children are living with life-limiting conditions, complex disabilities or who have experienced bereavement or trauma. They help families who often feel isolated find joy, strength and connection through the challenges they face. “Thanks very much for this really kind donation that will go towards our Christmas events” Candice Konig, CEO.
“The Sussex Beacon is a specialist facility, providing support and care for people facing the challenges of living with HIV. We are to become the UK’s only dedicated hospice for LGBTQ+ people, uniquely combining inclusive care with expertise in HIV specialist care. This will operate from our existing 10 bed clinical facility. Every year, we need to raise over two million pounds to continue providing these vital services to people living with HIV. It is only through the generosity of people like you that we are able to continue our work.” Julie Rawcliffe, Donor & Fundraising Administrator.
“On behalf of the National Autistic Society, I would like to share our heartfelt thanks with you and everyone at Anderson Acoustics for your incredible generosity. Thanks to people like you, we’ve been able to reach 1.3 million people this year through our advice, guidance, and support. Together, we are helping to build a society that truly understands and values autistic people. Whether it’s campaigning for autistic rights or providing direct support through our branches and autism centres, your kindness plays a real and meaningful part in making this work possible.” Asha Patel, Corporate Partnerships Officer
We are privileged to be able to donate to these great causes this year.
