Doushiant Mohith attended last month’s Auditory Verbal UK’s annual Sounds of Success event.
Reflecting on the evening he said ‘This event was genuinely inspiring. Hearing the stories of children who have been on an auditory verbal journey – and seeing the confidence, joy, and communication skills they’ve developed – was a powerful reminder of just how life-changing early intervention can be.
What stood out most was the incredible dedication of the audiologists, auditory verbal therapists, speech and language specialists, and of course the children and their families. The progress showcased wasn’t just the result of technology like cochlear implants, but of countless hours of skilled therapy, commitment, and resilience.
Events like this reinforce the importance of the role we play in supporting that ecosystem – helping to create the right acoustic environments and conditions that allow these therapies and technologies to reach their full potential. When clinicians and children have spaces where listening and communication can flourish, the outcomes speak for themselves.
We left feeling energised and proud to support a charity whose impact on children’s futures is so tangible. Thank you so much for inviting us!’
