The Pearson School & College Report 2026 was published early May and one of the key questions the report asks each year is what do you expect to be the top challenges for your school to manage over the next 12 months?
Really interesting, yet not surprising, to see ๐๐ฎ๐ฉ๐ฉ๐จ๐ซ๐ญ๐ข๐ง๐ ๐ฉ๐ฎ๐ฉ๐ข๐ฅ๐ฌ ๐ฐ๐ข๐ญ๐ก ๐๐๐๐ has climbed steadily from fourth to second place, now cited by 55% of teachers, up from 47% in 2022.
This reinforces the need to focus on the learning environments that enable SEND pupils to thrive. Good acoustic design plays a practical, evidence โbased role in reducing listening fatigue, supporting speech comprehension and creating calmer, more inclusive classrooms.
