Last month, the teams at TIER Mobility and Anderson Acoustics (including ‘Murray’, our own artificial head and torso by HEAD acoustics GmbH) collaborated to bring a science and inclusivity-led design to the streets of London engaging with some wonderful individuals representing a number of vulnerable road user groups.
The e-scooter AVAS (Acoustic Vehicle Alerting System) sound aims to balance safety and acceptability in order to alert road users, particularly vulnerable ones, whilst also supporting the awareness and growth of sustainable micro mobility transport choices for all.
We are very grateful to have been a part of this project and to have met some inspiring people along the way. A full case study will be published soon but you can read about the initiative from this link courtesy of the Evening Standard:- https://lnkd.in/e9SEt7rj
