When our profits allow, we make it a priority to support a variety of causes through the provision of charitable donations. Employee Owners have the opportunity to recommend charities that are important to them and to the company and donations are then approved by our Trustee Directors.
We were so pleased to be able to support the work of these 10 charities in the most recent period. They represent a wonderfully diverse range of causes and we are honoured to be able to support them.
A non-profit organisation that creates social change through music and develops emerging talent. Everything they do is free to access. Drop-in sessions, workshops, shows and social initiatives exist to enable young people and emerging artists of all backgrounds to fulfil their potential.
They are proud to have played a part in the journey of many Sussex musicians, such as Rizzle Kicks, Celeste, SpectraSoul, Frankie Stew & Harvey Gunn, ArrDee and many more.
Beth Whittington, one of our Community Engagement consultants, who nominated them reflects: ‘The work of this charity I feel is a great fit with Anderson Acoustics’ values. My husband’s career has benefitted from the support they provided to one sussex musician so I champion the work they do.’
From AudioActive:- ‘Anderson Acoustics’ generous donation will be supporting AudioActive’s open-access music-making sessions for young people across Sussex, helping to keep our work free for the next generation to experiment with music and receive vital support from the AudioActive team’.
Clock Tower Sanctuary Brighton
The Clock Tower Sanctuary is the only drop-in day centre in Brighton & Hove for young people aged 16-25 experiencing homelessness. Founded in 1998 by a group of concerned people who wanted to help the increasing number of people experiencing homelessness in the city.
We have supprted CTS for many years but are now able to uplift our regular donation by 100%.

A British animal welfare charity and humane society which specialises in the well-being of dogs. It is the largest dog welfare charity in the United Kingdom, caring for over 15,000 animals each year.

A local charity based in Brighton and Hove. MiO has been set up to enable people, who are at risk of committing crime without support, to begin to change their current situation through regular engagement in creative making activities.
Making it Out got involved with our Summer Walkshop in 2023, where their staff and a couple of their beneficiaries organised wood work activities for our team.

A parent led peer to peer support network for families with autistic children, whether that’s from the point of recognising it may be autism, being on the diagnostic pathway or with a full diagnosis. mASCot brings families together and enables them to connect with others in similar situations as themselves.

Established in Brixton, London in 2017, when a number of mums were on parental leave together. They became aware of the toxic levels of air pollution on the UK’s streets while walking around with their babies, and decided they wanted to do something about it.

Plan Zheroes have created a way for businesses to quickly and easily post their donations of surplus food (or non-food items) online, and for nearby charities and community groups to claim and collect the donation.
‘We are really grateful for your generosity, especially at a time when charities are struggling to survive. At Plan Zheroes we have a very small team – just three part-time members of staff – with no overheads for office space, storage or transport. All of the financial donations we receive go directly to helping us connect more businesses with surplus food and other items to people in need. So we are very lean and efficient!’
They believe in a world where clean air is a human right. They think everyone should be able to breathe air that is free from toxic pollution, regardless of where they live, their economic status or their ethnic background. Their work is to campaign for the Coroner’s recommended guidelines to be followed by governments, councils, medical professionals and the general public, all over the world.
Harry Foster, one of our Air Quality consultants who nominated the Foundation reflects:- ‘Many people are aware of poor air quality, but it often doesn’t translate into personal changes to reduce pollution. I nominated the Ella Roberta Foundation because I believe it addresses an important topic that, while widely recognised, doesn’t always motivate change. I love that the foundation is making a difference by educating not only children, but all, about the impacts of air pollution.’
The Manna Centre has been operating in London Bridge since 1982. They are a day centre for homeless people and those in need open 7 days a week, 51 weeks of the year.
We have supprted The Manna Society for many years but are now able to uplift our regular donation by 100%.
