Supporting a sustainable built environment with the UKGBC

We are pleased to announce that Anderson Acoustics is now a member of the UK Green Building Council (UKGBC), as part of our core commitment to sustainable buildings and the application of acoustics for health, wellbeing and quality of life.

The UKGBC’s mission is to radically improve the sustainability of the built environment by transforming the way it is planned, designed, constructed, maintained and operated. This philosophy directly resonates with our own view of the importance of spaces that are built for purpose, enabling people and the planet to thrive.

Our work and approach in the acoustic design of schools, homes and offices, soundscape design for places, sound quality, planning assessments, airport noise management, construction noise and dust management and community engagement directly support the aims and objectives of the UKGBC.

John Newman, Client Success Director at Anderson Acoustics commented, “We are delighted to have become a member of the UKGBC and look forward to contributing to its work and promoting the importance of acoustics within the sustainability mix.’

For more information about our approach to sustainability please contact John Newman or read more here.
