Our Construction and Air Quality team were out in force last week at London Build Expo. What a buzz.
Adam Glass, Harry Foster, Peter Akhurst and Nathan Lewis did the rounds, met with many existing clients and made new connections. It was interesting to see the latest innovations in construction on display, always inspiring and provides plenty of food for thought for how we as a Consultancy can get involved and contribute.
Harry visited the Diversity in Construction Stage on day one and listened to the panel session ‘It’s Okay To Not Be Okay: Let’s Talk About Men’s Mental Health & Wellbeing in Construction’. Such an important topic that needs continual spotlighting.
On day two, Adam visited the Sustainability Stage and listened to the panel session ‘The New Procurement Act & Creating Opportunities for SMEs’. Interesting to hear the plans for future procurement rules and routes aimed at providing more opportunities and access for SMEs.
He also attended the Digital Construction Workshop ‘Uncertain AI Futures: What Could AI Mean for Our Industry, Our Places and My Role?’ Here at Anderson Acoustics we have developed our own AI strategy to guide us as we harness the technology in our work.
Here’s to next year.
