Acoustics Cup 2026

Another great performance by the team at last week’s Acoustic Cup 2026 – what a day! Thank you as ever to Campbell Associates Limited and Pliteq for pulling it together each year.

Doushiant Mohith captained our team this time round and reflects:-

“Big shout out to  Megan Samuel and Thomas Harnett and of course everyone who stepped in to help out – ex-AA powerhouse Will Rowe, and mates Will Nickols ACA, John Ankin and Antonio K. Was an honour to captain you all!

We were pleased with our performance and results this year, the best we’ve placed for a while:-
0–0 vs MZA Acoustics Limited
3–0 vs AECOM
1–3 vs Stansted Environmental Services Ltd
2–1 vs Vanguardia, A Burro Happold Company
1–0 vs Applied Acoustic Design

We finished second in our group, qualifying for the Cup knockout stages. We got Sandy Brown in the semi-final, drew 0–0, then narrowly lost 2–1 on penalties. Gutted, but a great effort from everyone. The most challenging part of the day for me? Trying to get a bib on while wearing goalie gloves! Robert Harris-Marshall and Harry Foster, we hope your respective recovery is going well. With you guys back, I’m confident we can bring it home next time!’

Thanks Doush and the rest of the team and well done to Sandy Brown, we were happy to have warmed you up for the final. Reaching the semi out of 12 teams was a good runnings and we are as ever honoured to have Megan with us, the only woman in the Tournament!

Let’s hope the ‘other’ England team fair better in their semi-final today!!!
