The first appointment of the year sees more growth for our consultancy team. This week, we welcomed Ben Gray to the team! Ben joins us as an Acoustic Consultant and will be working across a number of our sectors including for buildings, education and environmental.
Ben joined us from RPS, where he worked for 5 years. There he specialised mainly in environmental acoustics, working on lots of large scale residential developments, battery storage facilities and solar farms all across the country. Aside from that, he has had experience with noise at work assessments, vibration, construction noise and vibration monitoring, BS 4142 assessments and building acoustics.
When asked why our company as the place for his next chapter, he said he was attracted by the opportunity to further his career, gain experience in areas of acoustics he hadn’t done too much of (namely building acoustics, soundscaping, amongst others) and the idea of working for an employee owned company. Our EO status is always a big selling point!
Outside of work Ben enjoys music (creating and listening), reading, playing pool (badly), playing snooker (even more badly) and lying on Brighton beach in the sunshine (out of core working hours of course!)
Playing to his love of beach lounging, Ben will be based in our Brighton HQ. He has already hit the ground running, onboarded and raring to go. Really looking forward to seeing you in action!
