On Friday 12th October a group of 14 intrepid explorers – a mix of Anderson Acoustics staff and their children – joined the Glow-Slow Snailway Safari, raising funds for the Martlets Hospice in Hove, East Sussex.
The safari saw the group leave a shiny trail as they left the i360 battling blustery winds to make their way towards the Palace Pier and on to the Steine Gardens, Brighton Pavilion, the Lanes, Theatre Royal, ending up at the Ivy Restaurant bagging 15 giant snails along the way. The snails and their artists provided a range of entertainment along the way, including poetry, music, dance, bubbles and lights.
£85 was raised for the Hospice and all 14 explorers returned to base safe and sound and are now back at work and school, hopefully still taking it slow (where allowed). A great night was had by all for a very good cause.
