Jake Saunders has joined Anderson Acoustics’ London office as an Assistant Consultant having graduated in music and sound production technology at Bournemouth University.
Jake has a passion for sound and how it impacts people’s lives and the environment. While studying at university, Jake gained valuable experience providing noise control and sound monitoring services for music festivals across the UK. From the sound stages at Creamfields to the live bands at Boardmasters, Jake was there, guaranteeing these events sounded amazing whilst ensuring the noise levels were within agreed limits.
Jake’s ultimate goal is to become a fully-fledged acoustic consultant and a member of Institute of Acoustics (MIOA) and we will be supporting him on this journey. A specific area of interest for him is pioneering the software which drives Anderson Acoustics’ SonicRoom™ advanced 3D acoustic modelling experience. Jake says, “Allowing clients to listen to the sound of a planned space or environment before it exists in reality can really inform the design of a building or space, and can also save money as it ensures the design is acoustically fit for purpose”.
Outside of work, Jake can be found building computers from scratch or playing his drum-kit. Jake recently revealed that aside from playing in various bands, he has also created a YouTube channel showcasing weekly drum tutorials of him covering his favourite tracks.
Talented and client-focused, Jake is a welcome addition to the Anderson Acoustics team and we are delighted to have him join us.
